As for praying and fasting is concerned: We fast beacuse God told us to and we gain good deeds like you fast in Easter. We pray 5 times a day to remember God and he told us to. We also gain deeds from praying. Prayer also makes you stronger from sinning because your remember God is watching you everywhere.

Faith isn't a competion. If you believe in something no one is going to change that but at least let others believe in their beliefs and respect others' religions. I mean no one so far has disrespected you in anyway. They're only trying to correct you and show you what they believe in and plus some of your misconceptions are wrong. If you're really are curious about the religion just ask instead of insiting on some unbiased facts. Look up your sources.
