| yep, Gondar. I like Ethiopian history, its largely overlooked in the west, they dont teach it. In Britain the curriculum only teaches things related to british history which is a shame as world history is even more interesting in many occasions. |

| BVargas78, i love african history period! it is so interesting they don't really teach it over here either. the african americans who want to know abt this stuff have to go and learn. to be honest we really don't learn our history either. i learned my history from parents, elders and church. but yes Gondar is fascinating my friend who is ethiopian went there. thats where his mother is from. :] |

Honestly, for Us Ethiopian Orthodoxes (the eldest in christianity) cares less about it. In this painitngs angels were painted an ebony and at times white too.
