| last year i went to the wedding of a somali friend. first, they danced sort of "modern" like this, only they didn't shake their waists coz they are conservative. Then, late after the singer was finished, some of the older ladies pulled out these huge drums and sang to them and did this incredibly athletic dance with spins and deep kneebends. It was amazing! Anybody have a link to videos of that type of dance? |
