Unlike ISRAEL's crimes in Palestine and Lebenon, which uses billions of US hard-earned tax dollars to fund Israels purchase of F16s, F15s with their load of cluster bombs like the ones used against civilians in Lebenon recently, the weapons used in the Darfur conflict are no more than Klashnikovs and rusty Russian Antonov planes. So divestment will only hurt the people of Sudan not the government.

If you're calling for divestment to prevent the Sudanese government from purchasing $50 Klashnikovs thats just being silly. Israel is worth more of your efforts. You should look at Israel's systematic use of disproportionate use of force in heavily populated civilian areas. Dont let your concious be directed by others.

Thanks for making the correction. But does the UN also say that all those 70,000 are from one ethnicity? Or is it the total people killed in the conflict from both sides? Sooner or later you'll understand how complex this conflict is. You'll find people from both sides giving shelter to their supposed enemy. This is not an ethnic conflict, its between rogue groups from both sides living on raides and banditory. The innocent victims are from both sides.
