| First impressions of Earth had AMAZING songs. It's just an evolution of their sound. Would you prefer it if they release 4 more New York City Cops, and 5 more Last Nites? Everyone fears that Pharrel is going to fuck it up, but i have faith in the Strokes. They haven't let me down before. |

| He expressed interest in producing their next album. And Albert was cool with that. And since he worked with Julian on "My Drive Thru", he most likely has an in, to the dismay of all Strokes fans.But it may not be all bad. The Neptunes have a minamilist aspect to their producing so he may take them back to their roots. Or he just might fuck it up royally. |

| Is this it was like a classic rock album to me. Room on fire was good too, first impressions of course was a let down, but I have to say it grew on me a little. I feel like the fourth will be a make or break for them, if they exceed the excess of first impressions with the next one, then that just sucks... |

| What they need to do, is isolate everything that worked from the 3 albums and build on it. FIoE was a step in the right direction(i.e. Ize of the World and Heart in the Cage are some of the most epic sounding songs ever). Just take the Undergroundness(i know its not a word) from Is this it, with the catchyness of Room on Fire and combine with First Impression's 'end of the world' sound, i think i'm gonna be blown away for a third time. |

| that's his thing he's different. their music has been described as "fast slow". the words are almost a drawl but the music is fast. so him being practically inanimate is perfect. to me it's what's best about them. |
