| It's funny how even the people who are supposedly not qabilist still end up talking about tribes. This separtism is not helping our country and definately not our people. Somalia is being systematically destroyed by the Somali people. This hate for each other based on tribes is the reason why foreign countries such as America and Ethiopia can prey on Somalia until the rest of the country is broken up even more and the people and culture no longer exist. | I also wanted to say that Mohamed Siad Barre (Allahu Naxariste) was a great president. Somalia should be so lucky to gain a president as brilliant as he was. Stop hating on a great man because of his tribe it's not only dissapointing but it makes you ignorant. Also, there is NO such thing as Somalian. It is NOT a word; it's Somali and the plural to Somali is Somali. |

But I am better than is stupid concept which in fact Siaad Barre (AUN) tried to irradicate. | I love Marexaan because I am intamately related, Marexaan was my great-grandfather^4 but that doesn't give me a premise to hate other qabils since I am also intamately related to other Somali qabils through my grandmothers and the cycle continues. I Also respect and admire Siaad Barre, not only because he is Marexaan (though it does play a minute factor), but because of his many accomplishments as a general and as chief of staff at the once Islamic Republic of Somalia. |
