| one thing i will add is that all the surrounding countries around africa want to play a part in somalia. so i do agree that the ethiopians should leave, but UN peacekeepers should be employed for as long as necessary, so somalia can progress and have a peacefull future. |

| Fuck the UN. The UN's repeated attempts to violently impose a government on the Somalis is one of the chief reasons for the ongoing violence there. If it wasn't for having to deal with CIA-backed warlords, western-govt-backed Ethiopian aggression, and the UN's imperialism, Somalia would be at peace right now. Western governments are running scared that people might see anarchy work, and are using the "war on terror" and anti-Islamic prejudice to justify brutalizing the Somalis into submission. |
