| *Sigh* It is a shame that the Ummah has an assumption that recitation of the Quran is beautified because of the style of recitation within the last few centuries. People has lost the inclination to understand what is a Qari or correct recitation in the sight of Allah. In this day and age the recitation of Imaan Al-Husari is the closest to the prophetic method of teaching recitation, although most will agree that his voice is not the most entertaining! |

| how does one tell the difference between reciting and actually singing as we know it is haram to sing in Islam but i see alot of Muslim reciting Quran which sounds like singing and wayfarer is it from the Sunnah of the Prophet salallahu alaihi wa salaam to have an instructor who looks like a opera coordinator waving the hands telling him what pitch to hit ? let's be for real Allah willl not change the condition of a people until they change the condition of themselves realize that |

| This is not singing, blackseed.. this is called Tajweed which is different than the recitation during prayers, and in this video the reciter is reciting with different "notes" YES musical notes called Makam but he's not singing.. I hope you understand. peace! |

| They guy knows the quran, right there they are trying o listen to the different styles of maqam he can preform, n yes it works like an orchestra. He knows what is required from him be lookin at his teachers hand. This teacher has made a great job. N the people in the back were asking him to preform something specific and so he did. Otherwise they were praising him. U cant blame them I was pulling in my hair thats how good he is. Wish we could listen without criticizing?? SALAM |
