I'm sure all of those babies are in the arms of God right now. The loss was more so the parents. Who did not deserve such blessings. God's love is the only decision which is righteous enough to chose something so outside the box. In fact, I'm sure it was more so love to take them out of the decaying world and into his presence early than letting them live in sin and aslow decay of desensitization.

But anyhow, if this is the case, then living till they were 80 and dieing in sin will be of no change. That's why it was a grind all the way until the birth of Jesus. Read Exodus 12. The blood of the lamb represented the love of THE "lamb." That's the only way the 1st born babies were saved. Why do you compare the grind with post forgiveness? Nothing Jesus says is a commandment to God. You turn the other cheek because you are not the judge. You don't have the right to decide punishment. Especially if it glorifies you getting fair.
