It's not really similar to WoW. It's got a single player option, and it's more hack and slash. you CAN play online, but it's not in as large a scale as WoW.

I am sure stats will remain in the game, or even the wizard can wear the heaviest armor? pls... Second, imho Diablo has always been about the loot. I like the story as well, but mainly you replay the game because of the endless line of items you can find. Character classes are good, gameplay is nice, as the guy said, endless line of items -> good Diablo game If there will be a lot more quests, then this game will be great.

Ohh, and it seems easy, but the real game will be harder, I'm sure. Here they show you the cool stuff. You will have like 1 or 2 skills in the beginning. Whirlwind in your dreams. :) And the loot will be dagger, cap, leather armor, some kick ass stuff :D If I am wrong, then Diablo 3 will be a pile of big ****.

Since Blizzard is still hiring and haven't even completed act 1 of Diablo 3 yet, I doubt the game will be released in 2009. Perhaps not even in 2010.
