| He is arguably the greatest guitarist to ever walk the earth. I have seen some of the dueling videos on youtube of JB and Malmsteen and I have to admit Becker is a superior player. If he did not get sick I can only imagine where Metal would be today. I feel blessed to be able to listen to what I can from him. |

| Not all arpeggios are swept though, if that's what you guys are getting at... Like an A minor shape can be swept, it's one of the more popular sweep scales. Not all scales can be swept. I think sweeping is a lot easier than scales as well, I mean once you get the up and down thing matched with your left hand it's pretty easy to learn sweep scales...I wouldn't say that about all scales though(as opposed to sweeping ones). |

| dude i said arguably....i don't have a favorite guitarist nor do I have a real opinion on who the greatest guitarist is. I frankly don't care....I'm merely stating here that I think Becker is superior to Malmsteen who by many people is considered the guitar god and the greatest to ever have lived. |
