Written shortly after his death? LMAO, no. The bible has been written in many different ways from 800AD by monks to 1267AD by Stephen Langston. The latest one is Langston's, it's the one everyone's more familiar with. Christianity didn't even become a religion until around 500AD. So, if you call the earliest form of the bible in 800AD shortly after, then yeah, lol. BTW, supposedly the Jesus books weren't written until at least 50 years after the supposed death of Jesus.

not in that case, but prophets, people who've had spiritual encounters with God wrote these and then it was fulfilled by Christ. and yes i believe it. the Bible is a historical document. and it's far too big and detailed to be fake. besides, i'd rather believe in what seems most right to me than nothing at all and have nothing to live for in the end.
