| If you trace the roots of celtic living back far enough everyone is celtic, scot, irish or walsh we all started in the same place. I am irish and have traced my roots to galway, This song is scottish, however in the sake of music the song dirty old town is not irish either. But the music was song, if you like to check out a band that is more like rock try a scot group called bad hagges, (sorry for any spelling problems) |

| It always amazes me how The High Kings can take a great song and make complete shit of it. They have completely lost the soul, feeling and essence of Irish music. It's over produced and false. I can only imagine that its for Irish Americans who don't know any better. |
