| You never vote for a Prime Minister. Nowhere on your ballot paper will it say "David Cameron for PM". You vote for your local MP, and the Party which has the highest number of MPs is asked to form a government by the queen. Led by the the parties chosen leader. Ergo, no one ever votes for a Prime Minister at a general election. Which is fundamentally undemocratic. But, then again, so is the Monarchy. And the House of Lords. And First Past the Post They (Blair & Brown) are both arseholes anyway. |
