| Who came up with this? there's no way to emulate the Dreamcast at full speed using the PSP! I mean the PSP only has 133mhz more of CPU than the Dreamcast itself and it only has 16mb more of ram...the PSP would have to be at least somewhere around 1-2ghz and have like 512mb of ram at least to run the emulator at decent speed. |

| actually psp hardware and dreamcast hardware is similar to each other. and the bit archetecture is the same so its very possible but you would need alot of coding experience. |

| That's pretty cool stuff, keep up the good work man be cool if you can get it to run. to those dissing the guy for trying, you guys are lame. At least he's trying! what are you guys doing? nothing. Weather it is possible or impossible is not the point, think about what programmers and developers of emulators CAN learn from doing such, as you guys say, "POINTLESS" projects. Atleast they learn, hands on, what the capabilities of such hardware can do. So all you haters GTFO. |

| Though this is neat and I encourage to keep trying the psp doesn't have the power the dreamcast had, and won't be able to handle it. Its neat though, if sony does (and knowing them they probably will) create a sequal to psp then it might be able to run the games at a playable quality IF it is substantially upgraded. |

| Negatory. Dreamcast used Hitachi SH-4 CPU clocked at 200Mhz. PSP runs on a 333 Mhz MIPS CPU. Simply emulating the CPU would require so much grunt from the PSP games would be almost unplayable. |

| I agree. well I speak to a sony rep from time to time and they tell me that it'll be a while till we see a new console... it happens every 5 years from the last console is made. Sony suppors their systems for a total of 10 years, after 5 of those 10, sony releases a new console and supports the old console for 5 more years. so when that console is at it's end, and the next one hits it's 5, the cycle stats again. |

| si "es mal", para emular la DC en un x86 (PC) necesitas por lomenos 3.5Ghz y no los 333 de la PSP, ah y 1 gb de Ram y una grafica mediocre... siapenas son capaces de hacer correr la N64 a la mitad de la velocidad real... esto es quimera... prenda dorada humo, nada... |

Note: RAW captures are a little bit faster than normal... also i i took out about 20-30 min. of loading. ( That was between starting the new game and beginning of intro cinematic. )
