Even with a serious eye-infection Arr gives back to his roots by doing a cultural performance for his fellow countrymen. He went on stage with literally 5 minutes notice and no hype-man to bring a smile to everyone's face. And it turned out to be a memorable performance. This is SNM Dreamz performed by Arr in Toronto. A classic response to those who deny his country's existance...
The reason behind the song? Arr became frustrated with a lot of people denying his country exists when he mentioned it to them matter of factly. A high percentage of them responded with sarcasm and spoke of Somaliland as if it were a joke... So here came the anthem in his head, and he put it out there so that everytime someone puts Somaliland down, you have a simple 9 words to respond with... Those nine words of course being "We're gone Moqdishu, don't need you, don't miss you!"...
Note: This song, as the brighter individuals were able to figure out, refers to Moqdishu as a capital and is not trying to 'diss' it's good people... How could one diss his own brother? Get it together...
