| assalamalaikum, i am hanafi, and i do not do this dua in my salah. is it done in isha or fajr salah. why is the imam looking straight ? is it not the hadith ,that look down when you are praying. |

| Regardless of what you're. Just because you're Hanafi doesn't mean you should refrain from certain acts of Sunnah. We know from authentic Hadeeths that Prophet SAW used to do Dua Qunuut. Not all the time ofcourse. It is done during Witr prayer after Ruku. When you're praying alone you don't have to do it, but witr prayer in Jaama usually has Dua Qunuut. |

| Assalamu alaikum! In Southern Philippines, the Imam normally recite the Qunut during Fajr prayer. When I was in Saudi Arabia I remember the Imam reciting Qunut during the Witr prayer. |
