ESAY represents the Ethiopian culture through all aspects of dance, music, food and the expression of cultural items. They will be showcasing as many groups that make up Ethiopia as possible, which include Amhara, Tigray, Oromo and Gurage. The purpose or theme will be to show the uniqueness of each group and how they add to the beautiful culture of Ethiopians.

I worked at an Ethiopian bar/restaurant for about a month or two and though I don't miss tending bar, I REALLY miss the East African music and the Ethiopian dancing (and of course, the food!). You ladies have done an awesome job, thanks for posting this!

We had international peace day when I was in high school also and the only ethiopians in the school was me and my sister so we couldnt do much of a performance so instead we had to get mixed with the west africans and did the performance with them as repsenting whole africa but now I wish me and sis has had done what u guys did..Im really proud@

if they want to deliberate diversity perhaps they should perform more for than 4 cultures. summing up all cultures in to 4 or 5 does not show diversity, there are more than 75 cultures in Ethiopia, as such they should perform more.
