| i am proud to be an isaaq how ever when it comes to somaliland, you have to acknowledge that we are just another tribe that happens to live there as we are functioning democratic state.somaliland has 6 regions and the isaaq people live in 3 so how does that make somaliland isaaqland. |

| hawiye47..to my knowledge somaliland consists of six regions and whilst the isaaq people live in hargaisa, togdheer and saxil the other three Awdal inhabited by sanmaroon and ciise,Sanaag by warsangali and some isaaq and Sool by majority dhulbahante so i dont think the figure is 99.9% do you. |

| the difference between the ppl of the so called somaliland and me is that they respect colonial boundaries and borders imposed by madmen in europe during the 19th century. how are you going to let a man who lived 200 years ago, who never visited africa, to tell you where the boundary between "somaliland" and somalia is, or where the border of Ethiopia and Somalia is? I do not respect these imaginary borders, and i support the creation of a Greater Somalia, where all somali ppl live in peace. |

This goes to show that "somaliland" is a clan-based entity. It's like ppl in xamar calling themselves Banadirlanders. The only reason you support Somaliland is because you're Isaaq, there's no need to hide that fact. I've never met an Isaaq person who didnt support Somaliland, and Ive never met a non-isaaq who isnt against it. |
