| walaahi! i think afar people are our closes cousins on this earth. also recorded history says back in 1500 in (imam Ahmed gurey)time to 1820 we Somalis and afar as one people fought the Portuguese,amhara,and the tigress cheerleaders (1500-1820). insha-Allah we Somalis will unite and hopefully we will offer our afar brothers to joint Somalia. long live Somalia/somaliya hano lato!!! |

| Dear HYWT, Afars are not Ethiopians nor Somalis there are AFARS! They have their own language, culture and most importantly their own land! There is no such thing as Ethiopian, Somalis in region Somali (Ogaden) are not Ethiopians, Oromo people are not Ethiopians, Afars in region Afar are not Ethiopians, Anuk people in Gambela are not Ethiopians, Sadima people are not Ethiopians & Muslims in Ethiopia are NOT Ethiopians! HA,ha,ha..HA! |

| Who are you to define who is Ethiopian and who isn't? Ethiopia is a multi-ethnic and multi-religious country. All cultures and religions within Ethiopia have the same worth: Afar, Amhara, Oromo, Somali, Tigre, Sidama, Anyuak, Kunama, Harari, Gurage, Hamar; Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Traditional belief-systems. Long live Ethiopia! And long live Somalia! We need to overcome those stupid quarels, as we are neighbors and brothers! |

| Dear NadiaAdam, so you are now educating me? I think you r funny cause the last time i check in the news the Afars r fightin for their independence! & remeber there is no such thing as Ethiopians! My family in Ogaden r not Ethiopians they r Somalis! Oromo ppl r not Ethiopians but Oromo and they have their own land, Oromoa. God willing all of my Cushitic ppl would be free & have their own democratic countries Ogadenia, Afarland, Oromoa, Sidamaland, Gambela Republic etc |

| The fact is some Afars live in Ethiopia but the ones that live in Djibouti they dont claim themselves as Ethiopians they claim themselves as being Afar first and then Jiboutian. But my point is there are many clans in Ethiopia and alot of them don't define themselves as being Ethiopian and they have been trying to get their Independence for years and a perfect example is the Oromo people and the Ogaden people. |

| There is no such thing as Ethiopia period. Return back to Abyssinia and ur Semitic soil, The Afar , Oromo, Somalis, Sidamo are all eastern Cushitic and not a part of Ethiopia. Ethiopia exists only in the minds of Abyssinians/ Semitic peoples and the dream of one man Menelik. I hope ever single Cushite liberates their homelands with the help of Eritrea and of Sudan. Oh and the Southern peoples as well liberation is needed not brutal rule of Abyssinians over cushites. |
