Here is Naomi's speech in full.... thank you to submedia tv.
Naomi Klein's speech, given at the National Conference for Media reform, on June 5th, 2008, was not included on the conference website. SubMedia tv contacted Free Press, the organizer for the conference, to ask why Klein's speech could not be found online, and the person explained that Free Press is a non-profit organization and that they should refer to the disclaimer on their website which reads:
"Despite our best efforts, we feel that some of our speakers encroached on electoral space during their remarks at the National Conference for Media Reform. It is not in our interest to disseminate these recordings. We are reviewing all of our video content and will add that which we determine to be free of electoral statements to this page."

Naomi Klein
The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism
First Unitarian Church of Portland
Portland, Oregon
December 7th, 2007
Engaging, but casual, smart and eloquent, but easily understood, Naomi's presentation charmed the crowd as much by its style as by its content. Though speaking from a podium, she seemed very much a part of, rather than apart from the gathering.
"In THE SHOCK DOCTRINE, Naomi Klein explodes the myth that the global free market triumphed democratically. Exposing the thinking, the money trail and the puppet strings behind the world-changing crises and wars of the last four decades, The Shock Doctrine is the gripping story of how America's "free market" policies have come to dominate the world-- through the exploitation of disaster-shocked people and countries."
"Klein may well have revealed the master narrative of our time."
