| My family go back in the east end (Bethnal Green and Shoreditch etc) at least 2 hundred years (maybe longer I'm trying to find out). point is that I'm the last generation of my family to do so, the place is now such a socially divided, mixed up shithole that Ive moved away just so that my kids can go to an English speaking school. but hey, thats Britain for you, losing It's real identity a little more every day. :-( |
