Somaliland is not only the best democracy in the Horn of Africa but also its working very hard to stablize the region by creating strong and well maintain navy and army and hopefully once the world recognizes Somaliland it will build its airforce and work with nations such as the United States, Japan, Korea, Germany, Israel, Great Britain and France, as well as African states such as Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria and Senegal.
Somaliland will be holding elections soon, it has three political parties (Udub, Kulmiye and Ucid).
France has agreed to help Somaliland build its navy, and help them develop strong economy, while England has agreed as well.
Tomorrow our president flies to Nairobi Kenya to take part in the IGAD meetings in Kenya to help the neighboring countries find a solution for war-torn Somalia; the most corrupted nation on the planet, with the biggest warlords, criminals, thugs, puppets, pirates and human right abusers, worst than Pyongyang and Myanmar put together.
Here is peacefull Somaliland trying to fight the pirates to secure the passage for the world's shiplines so our economy can remain stable, while ensuring that food aid is delivered to the needy people of Somalia and Ogaden.
Today Somaliland is supported by nations like Ghana, Senegal, Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Djibouti and ofcourse our closest alley Ethiopia; an important nation in Africa.
While in Europe it has close ties with Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, Great Britain who spends 40% of the aid for what use to be Republic of Somalia on Somaliland. Big up Great Britain. Its also seeking ties with the Republic of Ireland. United States is also supporting Somaliland in so many ways including the IRI (International Republican Institute) having a base in Hargeisa, supporting democracy in the region.
Somaliland has proved that Islam, Democracy and African customs can all co-exist and work together, its unique case.
Somaliland has enormous reserves of oil and gas, and its seeking Western nations such as Norway, Ireland, and Great Britain to tap these resources it will never welcome nations like China, or Russia to its shores because they are corrupted, just look at Darfur. The chinese continue to take their oil while the people of darfur are suffering, this is not the case with Americans. In the 1980s, the former government of Somalia signed a deal with American firms to drill oil in Somaliland, when these American firms saw the struggle in Somaliland and the human right abuse by the somali government of Siad Bare, the Americans packed and left for good. Well Done!!
We can tell you today these oil wells are back in the hands of the rightfull owners and they can come back and we can work together.
the International community has to support Somaliland and democracy in the Horn of Africa. Somaliland's dream is to be world innovating leader in hi-tech like Israel, leader of peace and democracy like Great Britain, strong economy like the US and Japan, and great tolerant nation like Norway and Finland. Somaliland will acquire Israeli technology not only in warefare but also to compact draughts and water shortages in the region since it has climate similar to Israel, as well as developing local farms, Israel is advanced in so many areas.
Plus Somaliland understands how it feels to be isolated from the international community as Israel went through this once, time to reach out for them and learn from them, same goes to Taiwan. Today Israel is the second most exciting region for high tech innovation after the silicon valley, i hope Somaliland can one day catch up to them and learn from nations like Israel rather than saying oh hell no we gonna work with Jews; dont listen to Arab propaganda, we gotto work with the leaders to be the best and together make the world a better place, that would be a better a Muslim person than those killing themselves and others, thats un-Islamic. Avoid Arab propaganda and seek education.

dude, there are lots of international warships from europe for example in that area but they are not allowed to hunt pirates. last week a german warship saved a british tanker from pirates, as soon as the german helicopter arrived the pirates disappeared but the "enduring freedom" force are not allowed to follow and kill them.

Wrong, German Helicopter fished out three Britons who supposed to be guarding the ship. This ship was carrying chemicals. France Navy frigate that was around the aria couldnt do anything about it. The fact of the matter is that, when determined Somali fishermen go on offensive to protect their TURF from illegal dumping or fishing no amount of Military hardware can scare them. They are simply a vigilante coastguard. The ship was apprehended and as usual, its going through the process.

Well, to be honest with you, there is no another ship. The only ship escaped was the Tai Fishing vessel blowup by Indian Navy with 16-crew with one survived and found Yemeni coast. Tragic isnt it? Indians now have to answer why? You see, Somalis respect human life they dont kill or mistreat their prisoners. Dont you think they disserve credit for that Sharpanator. they feed them well too.

There were 2 similar attacks recorded by the german army last week.Pirat boats attacking british oil tanker "trafalgar", then they asked for help and the german army send a helicopter from a fregate, then the pirates escaped. Another similar attack was ethiopian cargo ship "Andinet",german helicopter appeared and they escaped
