| If you're asking me - no. I lived there for ten months under contract and saw how the foreign workers were treated (mostly Indian and eastern European) if you think racism is bad in the UK or US, you haven't seen anything until you see how workers are treated in the UAE. I saw a few deaths out there that could have been avoided by better work practice, but people were allowed to die because it was cheaper to pay compensation than to stop work and save them. I'm not jealous of that attitude, no. |

They have the world's tallest bldg, the man made palm island, the world's 1st 7 star hotel - dubbed as the "OTT" hotel (Over The Top) when QE 1 retired, they bought that one too and made it a 5 star hotel too, This OIL RICH CITY !! go figured ! |
