ive never heard this before but since we are part of the universe the universe is part of us, therefore its actually ironic. considering that we are connected to the universe though literally were not the universe we are part of it. and also considering we dont know the actual scale of space we might be a bigger or smaller part of it then we could ever imagine.

I dont see the irony it it, but we probably are the smallest most useless part of it. Life may be so abundant that its almost certain to happen given the right conditions. Because "we are made of star stuff"-carl sagen. life may not have any meaning, so our own lives may not be any different.

I don't see any meaning in life. After all, if there WAS a meaning, it would be obvious. I mean seriously, asking yourself that question won't get you an answer. People have been asking themselves that question for what do I know how many years. An answer? No. How could it be? Because there is no meaning. Then again, I don't see how that makes life worthless or anything. I just hate those Nietzsche wannabe emo teens that cry because it's "all meaningless :(". Ridiculous.

My meaning of life is to bare witness to as much beauty as possible and to be amazed on a daily basis. If I was stopped from being allowed these things, life would have no point and be worthless. It's why I see such pain in peoples eyes because they have been starved of the magic and beauty of life. Life is an experiment. Don't be afraid of blowing yourself up because it's in those extremes that amazing things happen!

I have been asking myself these questions ever since I was 4th grade up to now.Everyday.I have stayed late nights asking questions.Appox. over 900 hours spent worth of reading books,listening to music,writing numbers down,wacthing movies with this subject in,changing my personality,lieing,studying,experimenting,taking meds,lecturing, and I get...No Results,No Results. Why do I contuine?: I'm not satisfied,with anything. I've never liked this world. So I will try to understand it until I die.

I think to have true happiness you cannot have greed. People think Greed can bring happiness, but it's really short-lived happiness. Greed causes wars and torture which if you look through the history of the planet, is not short-lived. I therefore think the meaning of life is to not be greedy.

yeah. we fight for our right to be happy. haha. dog eat dog. the problem is that we are born into a pre-existing over-developed system that jars against the simple nourishment we need. so, it is an inevitablity that we will be fighting to gain personal equilibrium and fulfilment on a simple level again.

i was 25 before i got my first dream. and it came naturally, depite myself. its kind of like surrendering yourself to what you have always been instead of trying to modify yourself and stifle your flaws. truly - think of that thing in you that seems to have caused you issues and setbacks in life - and see if that is not the very thing that is at the heart of your potential. its just an idea. also the confidence to pursue something is a factor - if they can do it, so can you - kind of thing

from what i have learned there are those that believe in apparent nothingness (living for happiness, pleasure, sex, believing evolutionism ect) all of these "reasons for life" do not provide any kind of true purpose. they satisfy the reason at hand, for the particular moment and near future. but bring no true meaning. it would seem that anything but religion is a pointless existence. there is only hope in religion. a hope that we might accomplish something in the end.

what happens when we die is the summing of all that we may have done...but if we believe that we live simply to be happy or to reproduce ect, nothing happens when we die (or nothing even close to provable or logically making sense). religion says that we are here to serve god, and we have to give up our entire lives for this purpose. so basically you lose everything that pleases you (you surrender your will to god) to gain the ultimate prize. as opposed to doing what you want n getting nowhere.
