Kansas University @ IEEE DySPAN 2007

Video Description:(Show || Hide)
Victor (Rory) Petty and Ted Weilding from the University of Kansas describe their Kansas University Agile Radio (KUAR). This was demonstrated at the 2007 IEEE DySPAN conference held in Dublin, Ireland. KUAR currently operates in the 5GHz band and employs orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM).
The Commission for Communications Regulation in Ireland (ComReg) issued a trial licence to CTVR and the collaborating groups for the month of April, which enabled these parties, with CTVR as the licensee, to carry out these trials and demonstrations in the greater Dublin area.
