| Kinda funny that 100 guys get dropped into an entire city that was against them, and not only did they get away. But the commandos mauled them. You might read the book or do a little research numbnuts And technically the mission itself was a success. |

| Task Force Ranger achieved its mission goal / in nabbing the warlord two top leiutenants. Plus considering that they were only 160 Men and lost 19 guys. Compared to 2000-4000 thousand that couldn't even defeat these guys? And they had around 1000 killed? I mean that's a fucking embarassment. I mean just looking at the numbers It's a disgrace that they fought there way out of there. I mean were all so proud that the somali's were able to kill a few and showed the degree of their civilty |

| By dragging bodies through the streets. Were all real impressed with the cave man antics, but it doesn't constitute a victory. I mean it's laughable your waving the death of 19 commandos against the death of more than 1000. I think there technology and having some of the best training in the world obviously did pay off. I don't think some pussy maylasian unit would walked away from being out numbered 30 to 1. |

| I don't advocate Western involement in Africa. I mean do you even know your history? Why operation restore hope was started? Photographs of starving children reach the west and the world demanded action and subsequently we got in the way of a warlords struggle for power & fighting broke out. I agree. I think we should just let that entire fucking continent rot from the inside out. They can have their land. Goes to show what you get when you try to feed someone. Fuck em. Let em rot. |

| Access to the horn of Africa? What the fuck for? Aside from a trade route it's fucking waste land. No trade, no economy, no nothing.I can't think of why we'd have any ties to a country that doesn't even having a functioning govt. | There's supposed to be a good show about fighting piracy on The History Channel Nov 7 called Shadow Force. I think the first episode is about illegal fishing off the coast of Liberia, but maybe they will also cover Somalia and get some more international attention on the subject. |

Those of you,who suffer under stupidity,the word soveriegn means independent,which Somaliais,since 1960. Any one who breaks this law,are in direct conflict against article 45 of the U-N boarder agreement.
