Oh for god's sake, if I hear that "Islam is the fastest growing religion" line one more time I swear I'll explode. It's the fastest growing religion because: 1) It's not, atheism is growing faster. 2) Because of the irresponsibly high birth rates in the impoverished Muslim countries as compared to Christian countries. 3) Because you threaten people who try to leave so they just stay nominally Muslim.

The Quran is the key not some papers holding history of some person you or i never met also weather it is true or not. I am an atheist, though I don't agree with analyticSynthetic on a number of his points (for one atheism is not a religion). I hang out with a lot of Muslims lately, and have attended two halaqahs and two Jummahs, in addition to having studied a fair amount of history in my time. While he is unduly harsh and judgmental, and is clearly taking the actions of a few extremists as indicators of the whole group, your answer to disregard "all this history jibber jabber" reflects poorly on you.

I can see his understanding of Islam slacks and he views Islam with arrogance. Also i disregard his history about Islam as its jibber jabber. Why because as a Muslim i believe in the Quran and i believe the main source of being a good Muslim is taught by the Quran. And as its a book of signs it teaches about certain events this world will encounter.
