Even though each of your perspectives on the moving were interesting, I also want to say that I find your interactions to be very charming and interesting in and of themselves. | I could not agree with Lorenzo more. Lorenzo, you snatched the words right out of my mouth! Wes Anderson is meant to be enjoyed as a metaphor, a fantasy, a fetishization of reality itself. That is his unique genius... he is not meant to be taken in a political or historical realism context. |

| Lorenzo! I agree with you completely! Every single shot has something delicious to look at. Thank God there are filmakers like Wes working today who avoid the usual predictable resolutions in plot and care about every visual detail up on screen. |

| Gotta go with the guy, he's spot-on and she's just nitpicking. Wes films have always been fantastical, not to do with the reality of life, but more to do with the quirks. |

| I think this movie was fantastic, it's right on with the real world. Every family has a little disfunction in it, but what people don't pay attention to is most families have so much that they cannot be together happily without disputing each other... I think Wes depicts families as what they truly are, but at the same time he leaves you thinkin no way, why tha hell would they do that, he keeps you on your toes but keeps you laughing and disbelieving the whole time, beautiful! |

| India is not totally poverty ridden, there is just a disgusting lack of balance in the assets. In India you will find the richest and the poorest. Go to Delhi and Mumbai (Bombay) and you will see luxury sedans, night clubs and what have you. Go to the rural side and you will see what westerners think of India, elephants, huts, tractors and so on. |

| Once again, funny and interesting. Marcia has a way of getting to a certain truth about a film. Lorenzo's right about her wanting a film to have a message, and there's nothing wrong with that. Movies like "Darjeeling" or "Superbad" are boring to her because they're not 'about' anything; they're not 'important'. I like those films, but she's got a point. |
