| If I remember correctly, it was a combination of rebel groups, the SNM in the north and USC in the south, both armed and trained by Ethiopia, were the perpatrators of the civil war. The Somali gov't has the right to defend its sovereignty and the stability of the state against treasonous rebel groups bent on the destruction of the state.
