Tower of Power

Video Description:(Show || Hide)
Tower Of Power jams. Their brassy-reedy-rich grooves, their tight-and-right turns, their bleeding ballads and orchestral funk are monuments to the enduring stature of soul. Their vibe is contagious, happy, life-asserting, a wondrous celebration of good feeling and positive sentiment

progressive death meath. im sure you've heard of maby some rush, or yes. pocupine tree? i dunno, but anyways it basically takes those attributes of not having any boundries in music and applies it to metal. so this is ballin genre you could go from some extremely fast double kick line bustin into some horm section or something. thats a little extreme but it paints a picture.

back in the 80's when i first heard this, think i was at the zenith of instrumental euphoria. David Garibaldi is one of the best drummers of the bay area. saw tower in 90. was 16 at the time, and favorite album is east bay grease (1970) pure soulful bliss!

you'll hear some amazing organ with bass pedal riffin about 5-1/2 into the song. i think the song might bring goosebumps and it's instrumental.&&&&&&&&&&&%%%%%%%%%#####
