| Sounds silly I know, but I grew up in Bethnal Green and spent a lot of time at the station waiting for trains to go up the West End or coming home late on Saturday evening after spending time in a Mecca Dance Hall somewhere (in the 1960's). Brought back some memories even if the station is now closed. |
